Meet Joanne H. Shawcross
Designer – Writer
Born and raised in New England, Joanne now lives in Massachusetts.

Over the years, her Skidmore College fine arts degree and decades of experience in Art Education has proved very handy. She seems to be always tweaking and transforming places into beautiful living spaces – indoors and out.

Besides Joanne’s talent being featured in a Boston Globe interior design Showhouse event, she’s done other projects in contemporary homes and gardens, as well as coached and collaborated with hundreds of people.

With a solid background in theory, she also understands the practical side of owning ‘design’ – She’s lived and transformed two historic homes.

While she’s great at researching materials and concepts Joanne’s real love is writing and helping people with creative design solutions.
